Press - conference on the results of the insurance market of Kazakhstan for the 1st quarter of 2010 and the implementation of integrated insurance solution INSIS in "Centras Insurance".

April 28, 2010, the press center Interfax - Kazakhstan in Almaty, Kazakhstan held a joint press conference of Fadata and Centras Insurance. The theme of this press conference were the financial results of the insurance market of Kazakhstan for the 1st quarter of 2010 and the implementation of integrated insurance solution INSIS in the Company Centras Insurance, Kazakhstan.

The accent of the press-conference was the fact that for first time in 2 years, in the 1st quarter of 2010 the insurance market in Kazakhstan has shown robust growth. The total premiums received by insurance (reinsurance) companies under contracts of direct insurance within the first three months of 2010 totaled 41,539 million Tenge, which is 65,9% more than the amount collected during the same period last year.

Moreover, the share of the 5 largest insurance companies is 60,0% of total premiums and 46.2% of the insurance payments. In total assets of the insurance market it amounted to 53,3%.

According to experts, the growth of the insurance market is associated with an increase in business activity - namely, a significant growth in corporate insurance sector in Kazakhstan, compulsory insurance of employer's liability, as well as voluntary health insurance. The growth of these indicators suggests that Kazakh companies are gradually emerging from the crisis, improve working conditions and not in last place - continue to improve the quality of the provision of insurance services.

For “Centras Insurance", as noted by the management of the insurance company, a step in this direction was the beginning of the implementation of INSIS in early 2010.
