Fadata is ISO 27001 (Information Security Management System) Certified

On 25th of November Fadata successfully passed certification audit by international certification company RINA (www.rina.org). International Standard ISO 27001 is intended to bring information security under explicit management control, achieving an optimal balance between the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information. According to the requirements of this standard the main aspects of security are covered: risk assessment and risk management, personnel management, physical security, access control, security of selection, purchase and use of software and hardware, plans and actions in emergencies and crises.

About ISO 27001

SO/IEC 27001:2005 covers all types of organizations (e.g. commercial enterprises, government agencies, not-for profit organizations). ISO/IEC 27001:2005 specifies the requirements for establishing, implementing, operating, monitoring, reviewing, maintaining and improving a documented Information Security Management System within the context of the organization's overall business risks. It specifies requirements for the implementation of security controls customized to the needs of individual organizations or parts thereof.
